night guardians - 2021

This series is about the night of viaducts in Shanghai. It is difficult for us to distinguish each column of the viaduct in the daytime. These obscure modular columns, supporting the operation of the whole city just like the arms of giants. At night, the light gives life to every column. Due to the slope of the bridge and other reasons, each column is actually different, and the forms of light and shadow we see are various. It's like the general public in the whole city. Everyone's joint efforts have supported the operation of society. We look so similar but so different.
